The location is perfect - right by the coast with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and a convenient ferry to Southampton. The house has a fascinating history and Dan is a friendly and knowledgeable host. The rooms are spacious with a sink for skincare routines, plenty of wardrobe space, and charming details like embroidered tablecloths and beautiful artwork. The dining room is fresh and peaceful with lovely flowers on the table. The room was clean, spacious, and had a very comfy bed. The amenities were great, with extra towels, hangers, and cabinets. The location is close to town with lots of restaurants and a pretty atmosphere. The accommodation is comfortable and homely, and Dan was helpful and provided warm croissants for breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were luxurious and clean, and the property is practically on the beach with a lovely garden. Dan was a welcoming host who respected our privacy. it was a great stay and we hope to visit again in the future.

I absolutely adored Cliffside! The cottage had such a lovely ambiance, with beautiful paintings by local artists adorning the walls. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, and the large beds were incredibly comfortable with luxurious bed linen. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with ample storage space and a bathroom all to myself. The free WiFi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected with my loved ones. And having tea and coffee in my bedroom was such a thoughtful touch. I also enjoyed spending time in the charming garden, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The location was superb, just a short stroll from the beach and a scenic 15-20 minute walk to the town center. The host was so friendly and provided great tips on places to visit. They even offered to lend us cushions and a blanket for a beach picnic, which was such a lovely gesture.
I can't think of a single thing that could have made my stay at Cliffside any better. Everything was absolutely perfect and exactly to my liking.

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, making it easy to enjoy the seaside. Guests appreciated the comfortable and luxurious feel of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The host was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful advice and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with plenty of wardrobe space and a charming dining room.
The breakfast options were limited and did not include hot food like a full English.

The owner, Dan, was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The house had a fascinating history and was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches like embroidered tablecloths and fresh flowers in the dining room. The beachside location was ideal, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, as well as a convenient ferry to Southampton. I would definitely come back to Cliffside again!

We got great value for our money at Cliffside in Cowes. The room was comfortable and homely, with lovely accommodations and a spacious layout. The location was perfect, just a short and pleasant walk into town where we found independent shops, pubs, and fantastic restaurants. The staff, especially Dan, were extremely helpful and friendly, offering valuable advice and warm croissants for breakfast.
The breakfast option could have included hot meals in addition to the continental style. However, it didn't affect our stay in any significant way.

Boasting a stunning garden where you can unwind and enjoy the fresh air, the hotel also offers an onsite bowling alley. It's like stepping into a fairytale land where you can simultaneously bowl your way to victory while being surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Limited onsite parking.

The homestay offers a range of exciting activities like hiking, windsurfing, and table tennis. I even got to indulge in a daily continental breakfast, complete with the thrill of having towels provided for me. Wow, what a wild ride!
Oh, and let's not forget the thrilling disappointment of not having a bowling alley onsite. The horror!

I had a warm welcome from the host. Reasonably spacious and light room with a comfortable bed was much appreciated. Central heating, iron/ironing board, and coffee/tea making equipment were available at all times.

Great location! Just a short walk to town with awesome shops and yummy restaurants. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, plus a super comfy bed! We loved how clean and spacious it was too. And the host, Dan, was so helpful and friendly. He even brought us warm croissants for breakfast, which was a lovely touch.
The only downside was that there wasn't a hot meal option for breakfast. But honestly, it didn't bother us too much because everything else was perfect.

The homestay in Cowes with free WiFi and sea views was an absolute gem! The highlight of my stay was the shared lounge, where I had the chance to meet fellow guests and engage in some lively conversations. It felt like a buzzing social hub, buzzing like a busy hive of bees!
Breakfast could have been better.

I had so much fun hiking, windsurfing, and playing table tennis at the homestay. The continental breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the provided towels were a lifesaver. And who can resist a barbecue? Such a thrilling experience.
Just loved everything so much, couldn't find a single thing to complain about. How disappointing!
